How To Become A Genius Writer

how to become a genius writer

I woke up on the 1st of January this year with a deep desire to become a  Genius Writer. I have not done any organized writing in the past. It just felt like what i wanted to do with the rest of my life – Asides building million dollar companies.

I wanted to train my mind to think clearly so i could articulate my thoughts smoothly. It has been an interesting journey. I am failing woefully to stick to a disciplined schedule or consistent writing – there is always something more important and pressing to do.

“It‘s not that I‘m so smart, it‘s just that I stay with problems longer.”

-Albert Einstein

It’s almost impossible to have a great life without proper planning and discipline. To achieve anything worthy of note , it takes calculated plans and measurable actions. I have come to vividly understand that until you discipline yourself to get your work done daily, consistently, never missing a schedule – sticking to it like an obsession… like it’s all or Nothing. Only then will you see the results of the compounding effect of all your dedication

Be Obsessed or Be Average

I stumbled on a medium post this morning, “The 1000 Day MFA – A DIY Alternative”. The writer talks about a do it yourself approach to earning a Masters of Fine Arts Degree (MFA), without going to an actual university. Basically this technique includes lots of reading, lots of writing, some mentoring, and connection with other writers.

Putting in 1000days of consistent reading and writing will result in a compounding effect – A Genius Level. The real question is, “Are you ready to put in that much time”? ” Is it that important to you to become a Genius Writer?”. If you answered yes to both questions then you can read on, below lies the blueprints you can take to reach your Genius Writer Level.
